The ruling TRS has bagged the Suryapet Municipal Chairperson seat, when its councilor from ward Number eleven, Ganduri Pravalika, won the election, securing 22 votes including that of Minister Jagadishwar.
The TRS had won only four councilor seats, but managed to get its candidate elected. The TDP, CPM, CPI and independents voted for the TRS candidate. (NSS)
