TRS amendments in T bill becomes a Talking point

Will TRS which has been spearheading the cause for a separate state of Telangana oppose the A. P. Reorganization Bill if the numerous amendments suggested by the party were not incorporated before it is introduced in parliament?.
This question became a hot topic for discussion in various circles in the national capital after the TRS President K. Chandrashekara Rao called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and gave in writing various amendments for being incorporated in the Bill. After listening patiently to KCR and his delegation on the crucial T issue and the controversy-ridden T Bill, the Prime Minister is understood to have suggested that these things should be sorted out with the Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.
Some of the amendments put forth by KCR and his party include those relating to distribution of power resources, education employment etc. One important amendment suggested was the need to reconsider the move to entrust administrative powers to Governor on Hyderabad. The party is also opposed to the idea of a joint High Court for the two states and hence wanted an amendment to be made in the final bill before it is introduced in parliament. TRS is also not for making Hyderabad a joint capital of the two states for ten years.
Thus the big question is whether the final bill would have all such amendments incorporated or not as wanted by TRS. If the Ministry of Home Affairs, which is drafting the Bill, fails to oblige will the TRS refuse to accept it without its amendments. These questions are being debated in various political circles, especially in the camps of leaders of both the regions of the state.
After his 40-minute meeting with the Prime Minister, the TRS President exuded confidence that the formation of Telangana State would become a reality soon. This he was able to gauge from the assurance from the Prime Minister about the central government’s commitment and eagerness to fulfill the promise of a separate Telangana state.
Chandrashekara Rao also attended the BAC meeting convened by the Lok Sabha Speaker where he too sought the cooperation and support of all parties for the smooth passage of the T Bill. (NSS).
