Mumbai: Actress Sonam Kapoor is being trolled on social media after she shared a video in which the actress is seen enjoying in a bikini.
Her co-star Swara Bhaskar for upcoming movie Veere Di Wedding had shared the video on Instagram.
The girl gang is busy shooting in Thailand for their movie. Swara posted a video which shows the girl gang chilling by the side of pool after their tiring flight to Thailand.
Swara captioned her video as, “When u are dog tired after a looooooooog flight,,actually two..but still gotta chill out with your #Veere at @amanpuri #Phuket with @sonamkapoor @rheakapoor @shikhatalsania #VeereJustWannaChill missing #kareenakapoorkhan #VeereInThailand also yeah..upside down video whatever!!!”
The actress haters called her names some even criticized the actress calling her flat after seeing her in the video which led to a spat between her fans and the trolls.
Earlier, the actress had shared her experiences of her childhood for body-shaming and how hard it was for her during the teenage.
The actress who struggled during her teenage had written earlier, “I know now that there’s nothing wrong with stretch marks, cellulite, or scars. They’re markers of our growth. There’s beauty in their realness. Flawlessness is a dangerous, high-budget myth, and it’s time we shattered it. In India women body shaming especially celebs has nowadays become quite often with no sense of maturity or responsibility among the haters.
Other Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Mahira Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and others have also been subjected to abusive comments.
However, nowadays the actresses are seen hitting back at the haters.
Veere Di Wedding is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and is a female-oriented film featuring Sonam, Kareena, Swara and Shikha Talsania.
