Hyderabad: President of MBT, Mr. Majeedullah Khan Farhat heavily criticized Triple Talaq Ordinance and said that his party totally rejects it.
He further told that BJP Government is using various tactics to consolidate Hindu votes by interfering in Muslim Personal Law.
When the majority of Muslim women rejected the ordinance, the government should withdraw it.
He pointed out that Islam is the religion which has given equal rights to women. It has preached to recognize the rights of animals as well. There is no need for the Muslim community to take a lesson from BJP. By promulgating the ordinance, Government of India is creating an atmosphere of anarchy. Religious freedom has been ensured to everyone in the constitution. The attempt of the government to interfere in the personal law will not be tolerated.
