Government of Andhra Pradesh and Chinese Company Trina Solar, today inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up a 2,800 crore plant at Atchutapuram, Visakhapatnam district.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that this will give a huge fillip to the energy-efficient practices promoted by the state government and create employment opportunities for 3,500 people.
Industries (Secretary) S.S. Rawat signed the MoU from the government while Trina Solar Vice President Chen Shou Chung signed the deal, in presence of the Chief Minister.
Trina Solar is one the world’s leading companies that specializes in the manufacture of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and system integration. It also develops and produces ingots, wafers, solar cells and solar modules. (INN)
