Kothagudem: A father was slapped in public by Aswaraopeta MLA Thati Venkateswarlu for demanding to know MLA’s relation with his daughter at Mandalapalli Crossroads which certainly was unexpected.
A worried tribal father Venkappa was slapped in public for demanding to know the truth, as his village people were linking his daughter with the MLA.
The incident occurred on Monday where the MLA was invited as a Chief Guest for the cricket Tournament in the Tribal Welfare School at Mandalapalli cross-roads.
But instead of telling the truth or giving a statement clearing the rumours, MLA rather chose to slap the worried father in anger.
The father was later allegedly taken to the Police station and was beaten by the cops. The relatives of Vekappa rushed to Police Station for the action taken against him.
The MLA was unavailable for comment on the action taken by the Police, DC reported.
