Jharkhand, September 14: The Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda on Tuesday moved a trust vote in the Assembly.
Munda was sworn in as the Chief Minister of the state on September 11.

The trust vote was moved by Deputy Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
The assembly premises are undergoing renovation, thus the proceedings are being held in a makeshift assembly at the Administrative Training Institute in Ranchi.
The trust vote debate, which began on Tuesday morning is likely to end by late afternoon or evening, an official said.
Munda was on Saturday sworn in as Jharkhand’s eighth chief minister with the support of the JMM, All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) and two independent legislators.
He enjoys the support of 45 legislators in the 81-member assembly and is likely to sail through the trust vote.

Earlier, The Union Cabinet on Thursday had approved lifting of Presidential rule in Jharkhand.
Following the Cabinet’s approval, the state Governor M.O.H Farook on Thursday had invited Munda to form government in the state.
The state was under Presidential rule since June 2.
