Hyderabad: Hyderabad is famous for its love of humanity, compassion, kindness and hospitality. Hyderabadis always come forward to help the needy. Earlier, they have helped flood victims and the persons who are effected due to earthquakes.
It may be mentioned that a social activist of Bihar, Mr. Mujahid Alam had contacted Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily requesting to help the flood victims of Bihar. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan had issued a appeal to the readers of Siasat which received tremendous response. Noted garment showrooms have provided a large portion of their stocks for the flood victims. So far, 100 cartons of clothes have been collected which include garments of men, women, children and bride.
Siasat has the cooperation of Faiz-e-Aam Trust and its Secretary, Mr. Iftakhar Husain and Helping Hand and its Chairman, Dr. Shoukat Ali Mirza.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan thanked all those who contributed their might to help these victims. He said that due to the help offered by the people of Hyderabad, Allah (SWT) has protected the people of this city and has showered His blessings.
