The East Zone Team of Commissioner’s Task Force has unearthed a fake Visa racket by arresting the owner of a travel agency.
According to Additional DCP (Task Force) P Rameshaiah, the East Zone team led by inspector A Sudhakar conducted raid on Hasnin Tours & Travels located in Taj complex at Nampally on Saturday and arrested its owner 52-year-old M Naga Bhushanam. The police also seized 24 Passports, fake and forges Visas, Sponsors Declarations, Affidavits and Invitation Letters, one laptop, two CPUs, one computer and one colour printer.
According to police Naga Bhushanam used to prepare fake and forged Visas and other documents for obtaining air tickets to easily to go to Dubai or Sultanate of Oman. He used to collect Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 from each client for this process. Nagabhushanam was earlier involved in a forgery case.
The arrested accused along with the seized material were handed over to the Abids Police Station on Sunday for further action.
