Hyderabad, January 03: (Siasat News) The new CEO of A.P. Haj Committee Prof. S.A. Shukoor declared that he will not derive any monetary benefits from Haj Committee. He inspected various sections of Haj Committee. He is a Professor of Urdu of Osmania University and also the Director of Centre of Educational Development of Minorities, Nizam College, Hyderabad. Talking to staff reporter of Siasat yesterday, he told that he will not claim any financial gains from Haj Committee. It is his first priority to maintain transparency in administration.
He said that he will try to provide better facilities for to the Haj pilgrims of 2012 Haj season. He convened a meeting of staff of Haj committee soon after assuming charge. He hinted at some changes in administration. He told that he has a plan to meet passport officer to facilitate issuing passports to Haj pilgrims. He also said that whatever facilities the Central Haj Committee employees are enjoying, the same would be extended to the staff here. He said that getting this responsibility is a sacred privilege for him.
