Transco ADE in ACB net; huge properties detected

Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids on the house of Transco ADE Syamsudar Reddy at Saidabad and his office at Mint compound.
The ACB sleuths plunged into action following allegations that the Syamsundar Reddy had amassed huge assets than his known sources of income. So far, the ACB officials have identified assets worth around Rs 2 crore and still the raids are going on.
The ACB officials identified the properties of the accused which include two buildings at Kukatpally, one building at Saraswathi Nagar in Saidabad, a flat at Neredmet, commercial and residential lands at Boduppal, Kompally, Kurimetla, 11 acres of wet land in Nagarkurnool and 36 guntas of land at Nandigama.
Tallada Transco AE trapped
Meanwhile, Tallada Transco AE Rami Reddy was trapped by the officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau while the former was demanding and accepting Rs 15,000 as bribe from a farmer.
Following a complaint from the farmer, the ACB sleuths plunged into action and trapped the official red-handed while he was receiving the tainted money to do an official favour. (NSS)
