Calligraphy beautifies the Urdu and Arabic scripts. Calligraphic art is an age-old art. Calligraphic classes are very useful in instilling interest of calligraphy among young generation. Every year Siasat arranges calligraphy classes during summer holidays. This was told by Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan while addressing the valedictory session of calligraphic course here at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall Abids.
Mr. Zahed Ali Khan gave away cash prizes and certificates to winners of calligraphic competition. The students included young student of nursery Sameer to 90 year old Mohammed Omer.
