According to Rajendranagar police, On Thursday night at about 2330 hrs, the complainant Shaik Abdul Samad, (49) Sub Inspector in SVPNPA Resident of Site A-Campus, S.V.P N.P.A, Shivarampally of Rajendranagar is the in charge of Officer Club at N.P.A, Shivarampally.
A party was held near Officer’s Club premises by I.P.S Officers Trainers of 2013 batch. The party started at around 2000hrs also organized playing of music and allegedly consumed liquor and food Meantime head of the complainant shouted from the pool side immediately he rushed to there and found that one of the I.P.S Manu Mukth Manav (31) an I.P.S Trainee of Himachal Pradesh Cadre S/o Ram Nivas Manav Resident of Hissar district of Haryana State had fallen in swimming pool, immediately he rescued him and fished out from swimming pool by complainant and other IPS (OT) Pratik Dubey, Vishwajith and others,
Manu Mukt Manav was unconscious state, Immediately they were shifted him to National Police Academy Hospital for first aid and thereafter shifted him to Care Hospital Banjarahills for treatment where doctors declared Manu Mukth Manav was brought dead.
Rajendranagar police registered a case under section 174 CRPC and dead body shifted to OGH Mortuary for postmortem.
Team of Doctors G Devaraju, Mohammed Azharuddin conducted a postmortem under the supervision of Mohammed Taqiuddin Khan HOD Forensic and Toxicology Dept. Osmania, after autopsy deceased body handed over to his relatives.
