Kolkata, July 17: Train services were disrupted in some sections under Eastern Railway(ER) due to obstruction by Bandh supporters.
Informing this, an ER communique said there were reports of obstruction at Katwa, Simlagarh, Belmuri, Patuli and Seoraphully, Patuli, Tenya and Nalhati stations under Howrah division.
Obstructions were also put up at Shantipur, Lalgola, Lakshmikantpur, Guma, Canning, Kalyani Simanta, Sonarpur, Habra Bongaon, Simurali, Payradanga, Machhalandapur, Ranagahat, Majdia Hasnabad, Titagarh, Taldi, Shyamnagar and Naihati under Sealdah division.
Reports of obstruction were also obtained at Malda town and Basudebpur, the communique informed.
Normal train services were mantained in Asansol division, it added.
