Berlin: 9 people dead, 50 injured and 2 missing after a collision between two trains in Bavaria, Germany’s southern state.
The train crashed before 7 a.m. German transport minister Alexander Dobrindt spoke at a conference that one of the trains drilled into another. He said that the scene was a “horrible picture” and estimated that the train had been travelling about 100kmph.
Its still unclear how the two trains collided head-on. Dobrindt said the reporters that there is a curve there, so it can be assumed that the train drivers must not have been able to see each other forehand.
