Hyderabad: Another tragic incident took place in Hyderabad city today. Hyderabad Central University (HCU) student named S Harshitha (21) committed suicide by jumping from 15th floor of the Himasai Apartment located at Nallagandla in Sherilingampally.
Harshitha resides at West Marredpally, Secunderabad and was pursuing Systems Biology second year in HCU. Chandanagar Police reached the spot and resorted to inquiry into the incident. The police have yet to trace out the reasons for the suicide while knowing as to why she came to Himasai Apartment and the reasons for the suicide. The police came to know after examining the details mentioned in the visitors book that nobody was residing in the flat where from she jumped on to the land.
It is learnt that repair works were going on in the flat. Mystery gripped up with the information and the police suspecting that she might gone to that flat only to commit suicide or there were her friends or relatives yet be known. The police shifted Harshitha’s body to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem. Mother of Harshitha came to hospital after receiving information from the police. The police inquired Harshitha’s mother. The police launched their investigation in an angle that as to why Harshitha went to Himasai Apartment and were examining the CCTV footage for the clue. (NSS)
