In what may be called as inane negligence, doctors of a hospital in Jammu and Kashmir removed the gall bladder of a woman instead of her appendix. Unsurprisingly the doctors of the sub-district hospital had to face public wrath later.
According to details a woman who was diagnosed as a patient of appendicitis, was brought to sub-district hospital in Kashmir’s Ganderbal district however the doctors removed her gall bladder instead of swollen appendix. The agitated husband and relatives of the patient invaded the hospital.
This was not the first time the said hospital had made such a grave mistake but the same hospital had sent a pregnant woman back home saying her delivery was still not due, and the woman had delivered a baby in a vehicle on way back home.
