Traffic restrictions at Khairtabad junction for Metro Rail works

In view of ongoing works for Hyderabad Metro Rail, the Hyderabad Traffic Police have imposed certain restrictions on movement of vehicular traffic at Khairtabad Junction.

“Hyderabad Metro Rail obligatory span work is under progress at Khairtabad Junction. The work will be completed approximately in three months. The traffic movement will be slow at Khairtabad Junction and the movement of traffic will be slow towards Panjagutta and Banjara Hills. Hence all the commuters are informed that they can use the present route and during peak hours they can take alternative routes,” Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Jithender said.

Commuters coming from Shadan College and Nirankari towards Banjara Hills, Panjagutta and Ameerpet are advised to take alternate route at Chintal Basthi –Road No1, Banjara Hills – NFCL – Panjagutta X Roads – Ameerpet and traffic Coming from Necklace road & Secretariat towards Banjara Hills & Anand Nagar Colony are advised to take alternative route at Khairtabad Junction towards Rajbhavan road Metro Residency – KCP –Taj Krishna-Banjara Hills.

Traffic Coming from Necklace road & Secretariat towards Panjagutta & Ameerpet are advised to take alternative route at Khairtabad Junction towards Rajbhavan road Metro Residency –MMTS –Monappa – Panjagutta X Roads –Ameerpet and traffic Coming from Anand Nagar Colony towards Secretariat Panjagutta are advised to take alternate route from venkatramana Colony – Ansar Manzil- KCP Junction- C.E.O. – U Turn – Metro – Khairtabad flyover.

The Traffic Coming from Anand Nagar Colony towards Lakdikapool & Assembly are advised to take alternative route from venkatramana Colony – Care Hospital Banjara Hills – Masab Tank.

All commuters have been advised to take alternate routes and co-operate with traffic Police. (INN)
