Traffic restrictions imposed for Eid prayers

Hyderabad, November 06: In view of Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) prayers, the City Police have imposed certain traffic restrictions on November 7 (Monday) from 8 am to 11.30 am.

At Mir Alam Tank Idgah, all vehicular traffic proceeding towards the Idgah will be allowed via Puranapul and Bahadurpura Police Station road from 8 am to 11.30 am. During this period, no vehicle will be allowed to proceed from Idgah towards Bahadurpura PS and the Puranapul.

All vehicular traffic coming from Shivrampally, N.P.A., towards Bahadurpura will be diverted at Danamma Huts ‘T’ Junction towards Engine Bowli, till the entire congregation disperses from Idgah after prayers.

Cycle-rickshaws and cycles will not be allowed to proceed to the Idgah from the Idgah cross roads. Cycles and rickshaws should be parked at the open space where stands are being provided.

Cars, RTC buses, tourist buses, Lorries and other vehicles carrying devotees are not allowed to enter the Idgah via: Miralam Filter Bed “T” Junction. The vehicles should make the devotees alight at the points earmarked on the main road and park in the open places on road side near the Filter Bed Point.

Immediately, after the prayers, all fast moving vehicles carrying devotees will be diverted via: Tadbun Road, Boys Town School, New Road Shamsheergunj, Aliabad Road and Charminar to proceed further.

At Secunderabad Idgah, all cars, motor cycles, RTC buses and lorries will go straight from the Idgah X – Roads via Balamrai and proceed to the Idgah from the Balamrai Road ‘T’ Junction, according to City Police Commissioner AK Khan.
