Traffic restrictions announced: Fish medicine

Hyderabad, June 07: City Police Commissioner AK Khan on Monday ordered restrictions on traffic movement in view of the administration of fish medicine at the Exhibition Grounds, Nampally on June 8 and 9.

Mr Khan said that patients coming in four wheelers from the Public Gardens side for fish Medicine will park their vehicles at the Government Junior College for Girls, Nampally, and proceed on foot through the Ajanta Gate.

If the parking space at the Government Junior College for Girls, Nampally, is full, these vehicles will be parked at the Public Gardens.

The patients coming for fish Medicine in buses and vans will alight at the Bamboo Adda, Malakunta Road, and walk up to the Exhibition Grounds. Empty vehicles will proceed straight to the Goshamahal Grounds for parking.
All VIPs with car passes will proceed from the Taj Island and from Gandhi Bhavan towards the Central Warehousing Corporation. Their vehicles will be parked on the premises of Central Warehousing Corporation.

After taking the Medicine, the VIP cars will exit from the Exhibition Club Gate, take a left turn, join the Darusalam Road and proceed towards the Ek Minar Mosque. Similarly, VIP pass holders travelling by two-wheelers will also travel on the same road.

Patients coming on two wheelers for fish Medicine will park their vehicles in the open space opposite Ajantha Gate light signal, Chandra Vihar premises, Gruhakalpa, Kattalmandi land and the New Mysore Café lane. If these places are filled to full capacity, all two-wheelers will be directed to Nampally College for Girls.

All government and military vehicles, which do not have car passes, will be parked at Gagan Vihar. All police vehicles (4-wheelers) on duty will be parked at the DEO office building and 2-wheelers in the set back area opposite Andhra Bank (APHB).

Vehicular traffic coming from the MJ Market side, intending to go towards Nampally will be diverted at the M.J. Market towards Abids and Nampally Station Road, via: A1 café. However, water tankers of HMWS & SB, vehicles of the Fisheries Department bringing fish to the Exhibition Grounds and the vehicles of voluntary organizations carrying food materials with valid passes will be exempted from this diversion.

General traffic coming from the MJ Bridge intending to go to Nampally will be diverted at Alaska towards Darusalam.

Mr Khan requested the general public to co-operate with the traffic police and ensure smooth flow of traffic.
