In the present days of price rise, if one has to meet unforeseen expenses, it becomes burdensome for him. It is possible that natural calamities may be postponed but it is not possible for anyone to escape from the clutches of the police.
Police is troubling the public under the pretext of searching the vehicles and documents. They impose a fine ranging between Rs.100 to Rs.1500. Citizens have paid such fines. Govt. has given free hand to police. It is becoming a source of income for the Govt. to fill its treasury. In the special drive of police more than 10 thousand people had to pay fines. Police found 3 thousand vehicles, which didn’t have number plates as per Govt. specification. Ten thousand drivers were imposed fines because they didn’t have proper documents. People think that police is imposing fines to fill Govt. treasury. Instead of paying attention to improve traffic, it is concentration on imposing fines.
