Hyderabad: Tension prevailed in Nimboli Adda, Kachiguda when traffic police constables allegedly assaulted a Muslim youth for reportedly violating the traffic rules.
According to the details of the case, Mohammed Shahid was passing through Nimboli Adda on a motorcycle. At that time, traffic police was engaged in checking the documents of the commuters. When the policemen wanted to stop him, he allegedly tried to run away but a Home guard made an attempt to catch him as a result of which Mohammed Shahid fell down. He was taken to police station where the police constables asked his name and started beating him which caused injuries to him.

After the incident, Mohammed Shahid registered a complaint against Traffic Police Sub-Inspector, Mr. G. Ram Reddy and three other police constables. In another case, B. Sudheer Kumar, Home Guard made a complaint against Mohammed Shahid.
Mr. Madhu Sub-Inspector of Kachiguda Police told that investigations of both the complaints are in progress.
