In view of the on-going Hyderabad Metro Rail Pier construction work at Big Bazaar near Shalimaar T Junction, Ameerpet, the Traffic police informed that vehicular traffic on this route will be diverted for a week days from Wednesday from 22 hours to December 13 till 6 am hours.
The Traffic police said to ease the traffic congestion and to facilitate free flow of traffic and to maintain public safety, vehicular traffic will be diverted as follows: Heavy vehicles like RTC buses / Lorries coming from Khairthabad and Panjagutta, intends to go towards Ameerpet, will not be allowed straight towards Ameerpet at Shalimaar T Junction. They will be diverted into free left (at Shalimaar T Junction) – proceed up to Big Bazaar back side lane – then take right turn and join in the normal route at Entry / Exit of Big Bazaar, whereas two and four wheelers will be allowed in the normal route.
Traffic (Except heavy vehicles) coming from Krishna Nagar, Indira Nagar and Srinagar Colony, intends to go towards Ameerpet via Shalimaar T Junction, will not be allowed towards Shalimaar T Junction and will be diverted into by-lane of GHMC Park (opposite Zeenath Residency ) at GHMC Park, Srinagar Colony road – take left turn at Park View GS Construction building – then take right turn at Goutham Chicken Centre – proceed towards Image Hospital lane and then join in the normal route.
Traffic coming from Erragadda, SR Nagar and Ameerpet, indents to go towards Panjagutta and Khairthabad, will be facilitated on the half of the other side of the road i.e., opposite Big Bazaar up to Shalimaar T Junction then join in the normal route.
The following Bus routes are to be diverted 218, 225, 9, 9M, 9X,9/F, 189M,19/F,158, 113, 19J,19M, 185, 19K/J. The commuters and the general public are advised to take alternate routes and avoid the route. (NSS)
