Hyderabad: The city traffic police today said traffic restrictions will be in force on March 5 from 1600 hrs to 2130 hrs in connection with “National Prayer Day” at LB Stadium and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will be the chief guest.
Traffic police said diversions and restrictions will be made, if required, as per the local situation: At AR Petrol Pump Jn., traffic will not be allowed towards BJR Statue and will be diverted towards Nampally and Chapel Road (through KLK Building) or Ravindra Bharati.
Traffic coming from Abids and Gunfoundry side will not be allowed towards BJR Statue and Basheerbagh Jn., and it will be diverted at SBI Gunfoundry towards Chapel Road. Traffic coming from Basheerbagh Jn. and going towards GPO, Abids will be diverted at Basheerbagh Jn. towards Hyderguda and King Koti road. Traffic coming from Old MLA quarters towards Basheerbagh will be diverted at Old MLA Qtrs towards Himayatnagar Y Jn. Traffic coming from King Koti to Basheerbagh via Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan will be diverted at King Koti crossroads towards Tajmahal and Eden Garden.
