The 365 Solutions has organized several programs in the State capital to create awareness on the need to “prevent road accidents. It organized an awareness rally on vehicular traffic from People’s Plaza to Necklace Road Railway Station. Members of the organization presented several programs on traffic rules and regulations.
Speaking on the occasion, Lok Satta president Jayaprakash Narayana said that most of the road accidents were occurring because of drunken driving and criminal negligence. He said that due to lack of awareness on traffic rules, fatal accidents were taking place unabated.
GHMC Commissioner Krishna Babu said that they were planning to lay footpaths and cycle path as part of regularization of vehicular traffic in the city.
HMDA OSD Akbaruddin and organizers participated in the program. (NSS)
