A trader was today shot dead in Dhanbad town of Jharkhand and his brother suffered bullet injury by an unidentified assailant, the police said here.
The gunman fired four bullets at Saroj Singh (35) and the doctors at the central hospital declared him brought dead, sources said.
His brother, Manoj, who suffered a bullet injury, is out of danger, the police said quoting the doctors.
Saroj was into medicine business, the sources said adding many druggists in the coal township downed the shutters
of their shops in protest against the killing.
