TPF rejects KCR’s claim of Telangana state

Telangana Praja Front (TPF) here on Friday appealed to the people of the Telangana region not to believe the claims of some leaders that they have clear signals on formation of separate Telangana State. Speaking at a media conference here, TPF State president Akula Bhumaiah said as the time for Presidential election was nearing, drama on Telangana has begun once again. He reminded that Telangana statehood issue has become main point of discussions. There were no signals on formation of separate Telangana State and the people should not believe the talk, he added.

Bhumaiah appealed to all the Telangana MPs and MLAs to boycott the Presidential election to register their protest against non-formation of separate Telangana State. Formation of Separate Telangana would become a reality only through intensified agitations. He appealed to the people to join the agitation for Telangana. He also urged the Telangana groups to come forward for chalking out a plan for prolonged intensified agitation.

Indirectly referring to the statement of TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao, TPF general secretary Nalamasu Krishna has questioned the former from where and from whom he got the signals on formation of separate Telangana State. He warned such leaders that the people would not forgive if they tried to sidetrack the Telangana agitation.
