Telangana Praja Front president Akula Bhumaiah has demanded that the State government unconditionally release the Telangana protagonists, who were illegally detained by the police across the region in the name of preventive custody.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday, Bhumaiah demanded that the State government stop illegal arrests of Telangana agitators in the region. He appealed to the government to grant permission for Telangana March on September 30. He also demanded that the ministers from the region convince Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to give permission to Telangana March. He also warned that the people of the region would teach a fitting lesson if they failed to give permission to Telangana March.
Republican Party of India (RPI) State president Bojja Tharakam said they have extended support to Telangana March on September 30. He said that Telangana March like programs were common in the democratic countries to reflect the people’s aspirations in a peaceful manner. He said that it was undemocratic the State government denied permission to the Telangana March.
