TPCC Kisan & Kheth Mazdoor Congress has alleged that the State and Central governments remained negligent towards solving problems of farmers and agriculture-related issues.
In a statement here on Monday, Kisan & Kheth Mazdoor Congress chairman M Kodanda Reddy said the agriculture sector was under neck-deep crisis due to the State government’s criminal negligence towards agriculture and farmers’ problems. He said the TPCC is organizing a debate on ‘Agriculture Policies of State and Central Governments’ on February 17 where Agriculture policy, crop loans, insurance policy, farmers’ suicides, waiver of crop loans and other issues will be discussed, he said.
The Congress MPs, MLAs, DCC presidents, former MLAs and MPs and other important leaders would participate in the debate. They would discuss about the issues related to agriculture and problems of farmers to be raised in Parliament and Assembly sessions, he added. (NSS)
