Telangana Pradesh Congress committee spokesman Mohammed Ahmed Ali expressed happiness over Congress victory in municipal elections in Telangana. Ahmed Ali in a press statement said victory of Congress in municipal and local body elections indicate that Congress will get majority in assembly elections.
He claimed that the success is due to Telangana formation by Sonia Gandhi. He ruled out hung assembly reports and said that the results to be released on May 16 will be a rejoinder to those who are targeting Congress. TPCC spokesman said that unlike other parties Congress does not believe on star campaigners where as every worker of Congress is a star campaigner.
