Making it clear that the Congress would win in 52 divisions in the ensuing GHMC elections, TPCC asked IT Minister K T Ramarao as to why he was afraid of saying that the GHMC elections would be a referendum on TRS rule.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, TPCC official spokespersons B Kamalakara Rao and G Niranjan said the people would decide whether the Congress or TRS could get single digit seats in the ensuing GHMC elections. He said KTR’s words show his arrogance.
It may be recalled that KTR had said the Congress would get single digit seats in the ensuing GHMC elections. They said the people of Hyderabad would not believe in sops whatever the government announced keeping the elections in view. (NSS)
