TPCC removes Kyama Mallesh from party post for rebellion

Hyderabad: TPCC has cracked its whip against party’s Ranga Reddy district president Kyama Mallesh for his recent allegations against party leaders.

TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday said they have removed Mallesh from the post of president of the district unit. He also said they have issued a show-cause notice to Mallesh asking him to respond by Tuesday night. If he failed to reply to the notice, he is likely to be suspended from the party. However, Mallesh responded on the issue and wondered as to how the party leadership would take action against him when it failed to take similar action against them. He said he had worked for 35 years and strengthened the party.
