The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has decided to organize protest on August 23 in protest against the agreement between Telangana and Maharashtra States.
The TPCC described the agreement with Maharashtra as a permanent betrayal to Telangana State and as a fake agreement. The Congress party will express its protest by carrying black flags on Tuesday. Condemning the corruption in irrigation projects, TPCC demanded the State government to complete the pending projects immediately to provide water to 30 lakh acre.
Describing the agreement between Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Maharshtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis as a conspired one, TPCC called upon the people to express their protest against the agreement with black flags to save the Telangana from the agreement. (NSS)
