Hyderabad: Wondering as to how Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao would sanction hundreds of crores of public money to his native Chintamadaka village, TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi on Wednesday demanded that the Governor call for a report from the government on the huge allocations made to Chintamadaka village.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, the TPCC leader contended that the money allotted by the CM to his native village was not his own but public money. Ravi said the Congress wouldn’t have any objection if the State government allocated several crores of rupees for a single project of Chintamadaka, but they were raising objection to the fact that the CM had sanctioned money for his personal gains. Mallu Ravi demanded that the Governor respond on the issue and call for a report on the allocations made to the Chintamadaka village.
Commenting on the fall of Congress-JDS coalition government in Karnataka State, Mallu Ravi said the real face of the BJP was exposed with this. He alleged that the Karnataka Governor worked in favor of the BJP. He alleged that the BJP had spent several crores of rupees to pull down the Congress- JDS government. Claiming that the next target of the BJP was to dislodge the KCR government in Telangana after the Karnataka, the TPCC leader said the decision of the Governor to send back the Municipalities Bill was a clear signal from the Narendra Modi government at the Centre.
