Demanding that the State government launch Metro Rail works in the Old City immediately, TPCC spokesperson T Niranjan said all political parties, barring MIM, were in favour of Metro Rail in the Old City.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Niranjan said the TRS government didn’t launch a single new Metro Line during its three-year regime and it was completing the works of Metro Rail launched by the previous Congress government. While the MIM was obstructing Metro Rail works in the Old City, Niranjan said the State government remained calm due to fear of MIM, which never bothered about the problems of the people except their votes.
