TPCC demands all-party meet on Palamuru, Dindi projects

The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee on Monday demanded that the Telangana Government convene an all party meeting to discuss the Palamaru and Dindi irrigation projects.

Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan here, TPCC Kisan Cell chairman M Kodanda Reddy and former MP D Vittal said that both the projects were started during the previous Congress regime. They alleged that Irrigation Ministers of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were not fully aware of the details of both the projects and therefore, leveling allegations against each other. They also accused Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of trying to provoke the people of Andhra Pradesh while misleading the residents of Greater Hyderabad in view of next GHMC elections.

Therefore, they demanded that the State Government convene an all party meeting to discuss the issue and clarify the doubts of opposition parties. (INN)
