TPCC condemns arrests of his party leaders

lleging that the TRS government “murdered” democracy by arresting Congress leaders and dumping them in jails on Sunday, TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy today said the arrests were atrocious on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first visit to the newly formed Telangana State.

In a statement to the media today, Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that the TRS government was enforcing “fascist” rule in the State by suppressing the fundamental rights of the people instead of creating cordial atmosphere when the Prime Minister was visiting the State. In his letter, the TPCC president urged the Prime Minister to take serious view of the TRS government’s suppressive attitude towards the people and political leaders. (NSS)
