TP-JAC asks elected representatives to intensify agitation

Telangana Political Joint Action Committee Chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Thursday said that the Telangana State could be achieved only by constantly mounting pressure on the Central Government.

Talking to media persons during his visit to the district in bus yatra, Kodandaram said that the frequent pleas made by the Telangana leaders to the Centre have failed to yield results and by building proper pressure, the Telangana could be achieved. He appealed to the elected representatives to intensify their agitation for bifurcation of State instead of sticking to traditional methods of dharnas and stirs.

Prof Kodandaram called upon the youth to stop committing suicides for the cause of Telangana and launch united struggle for the formation of State. The extreme steps being taken by students will not help in achieving Telangana and it will only cause heartburn among the parents and relatives, he said.

Telangana Employees JAC leaders Swamy Goud, Srinivas Goud and Vittal also participated in the bus yatra. (INN)
