TOKYO, March 01: Toyota is recalling 145,000 Corolla cars in Brazil for fuel leaks in the latest in a slew of global quality problems ailing the world’s biggest automaker.

Toyota Motor Corp. said Tuesday its Brazilian unit issued a recall over the weekend to fix the fuel hose, tank and pump parts of the Corolla compact manufactured in Brazil between March 2008 and December 2010, and sold only in Brazil.
