Expressing strong reaction over the high-handedness of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao regarding demolition of old heritage structure Osmania General Hospital, Captain Pandu Rangareddy said that government was playing hide and seek with Telangana people. He warned government that any secret agenda would be intolerable and asked chief minister to avoid such announcements in the future.
Expressing deep sorrow over the issue he said CM was repeatedly talking of dismantling Osmania General Hospital despite such a strong protest which was not only deplorable but a move which would take Telangana’s Cultural Heritage on the verge of destruction.
Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha asserted that the reports submitted by structural engineers, various heritage activists and others proved that there was no risk to the Osmania Hospital building; in spite of that CM’s stubbornness to dismantle the building was a warning bell for the democratic system of Telangana state.
Chairman HAS India Maulana Syed Tariq Quadri advised chief minister to fulfill election promises instead of dismantling the heritage structure. He claimed that several issues of Muslims and other backward classes were pending and ruling party instead of solving the problems was showing pigheadedness on the matter of dismantling Osmania General Hospital.
