State Tourism Department has announced special packages for summer. The packages will be available in May and June.
Speaking to the media at Secretariat here on Thursday after releasing brochures and posters along with department secretary Chandana Khan, Tourism Minister Vatti Vasantha Kumar said the packages will be linked to various places in the State from Hyderabad. He said the department has prepared 21 special packages for this summer.
The packages in Telangana region are: road-cum-river packages — Bhadrachalam-Papikondalu, Hyderabad-Nagarjuna Sagar, Hyderabad-Vemulavada, Kondagattu, Basara. Rail-cum-Road packages are: Hyderabad-Annavaram, Visakhapatnam and Araku.
In Rayalaseema region the packages are: Srisailam, Ahobilam, Mahanandi, Yaganti, Belum, Alampur, Hyderabad-Amaravathi, Vijayawada, Suryalanka, Hyderabad-Dindi, Anthervedi, Dwaraka Tirumala and Beach Packages are: Hyderabad-Vijayawada and Suryalanka.
Vatti said new packages will be introduced to foreign tourists to have a chance to visit the tourist places directly from the Airport. (NSS)
