Digha (WB), May 11: A tourist couple and their four-year-old daughter were found dead in their hotel room in this sea resort town in West Bengal today.
The family hailing from Budge Budge near Kolkata had checked into the hotel on May 7. They had returned to their room at around 11 pm yesterday, East Midnapore SP Ashok Biswas said.
The hotel owner found the windows and door of the room locked today and informed the police, who broke open the door and found the man hanging from the ceiling of the room.
The woman and the daughter were lying on the floor dead, Biswas said.
The family had booked the hotel room in advance from Budge Budge, he said.
