Johannesburg: Tottenham Hotspur remained in contention for Premier League title as they thrashed Manchester United with three rapid goals in the second half at White Hart Lane.
Dele Alli put the hosts ahead in the 70th minute before Toby Alderweireld and Erik Lamela struck within a gap of six minutes, Sport24 reported.
Elsewhere, Leicester bagged a 2-0 win over Sunderland earlier in the day to remain overwhelming favourites for the title. They have a seven-point lead over Hotspur.
