Mr. Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal (IPS) Commissioner Minority Welfare took charge as special officer Waqf Board on Friday. After Friday prayers he reached the Waqf Board office located at Hajj House and took charge of his duty. He conducted a meeting with the Waqf Board officials and reviewed the performance of the Board.
Talking to press persons on the occasion he said preservation of Waqf properties and redemption of Waqf properties from encroachers would be his top priority. He assured that focus will be on ensuring use of Waqf income as per Mansha-e-Waqf.
He told that Waqf properties are Allah’s trust and he will try to come up to the expectations of the government. He has taken charge of two important posts commissioner minority welfare and special officer Waqf Board with citizen service spirit.
