Johannesburg : Australian tennis professional Bernard Tomic has apologised after his tussle with the hotel staff for using the court near his Gold Coast residence, saying he doesn’t want to cause any trouble.
According to Sport24, Tomic, who was looking forward to play in Australian Open, clashed with staff at the RACV Royal Pines resort after they refused his access to the court.
Reflecting on his behavior, the 23-year-old admitted that he got frustrated as his practice was interrupted.
He insisted that there was no excuse for his behavior and, therefore, he was sorry for the incident.
Tomic, who bowed out of the season-opening Brisbane International tournament after suffering a semi-final defeat at the hands of Milos Raonic, was last year charged by the police for trespassing after holding a party in his local hotel room. (ANI)
