Hyderabad, January 26: A spate of incidences of demolition of mosques and illegal occupation on its land, in the city, for the past few days has generated concern regarding Muslim monuments.
Recently a Qutub Shahi mosque was demolished in Balapur, unauthorized construction of shed was carried out in the premises of Masjid Kalan, Karwan Sahu. Now the communal forces are eyeing a tomb of an ancestor near Sun City.
Buildings have been constructed on large scale around the tomb and the tomb is completely hidden among the towering buildings. The tomb has a serious threat from communal elements. Before anyone tries to damage the tomb there is need to make elaborate security arrangements.
As the Sun City area is transformed into a posh and expensive locality, hence the land grabbers, by occupying the mosques, graveyards and tombs, are trying to annihilate Muslim signs, by way of conspiracy.
