Dehradun, February 02: The toll in the bus accident in Champawat district of Uttarakhand today rose to 10 with three more passengers succumbing to their injuries this morning.
Seven people had died on the spot when the bus fell into a gorge yesterday, police said.
Meanwhile, the condition of five persons admitted in hospital has been stated to be serious.
A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the incident and Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank has asked the district administration to provide ex-gratia to the next of the kin of the deceased.
