International President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Dr Pravin Togadia today announced the launch of ‘Hindustan against Terror campaign’, ostensibly to help people protect themselves from Jehadi terrorism. Speaking at a function to mark the 10th anniversary of Godhra train carnage in which 59 karseveks were burnt alive in Sabarmati Express on February 27, 2002, Togadia said no government, either state or central, is keen to finish jehadi terrorism.
The central government is setting up an agency like National Counter Terrorism Centre on the pretext of tackling the terrorist menace but no government has taken concrete steps to curb terrorism. He said ‘Hindustan against Terror’ campaign will have people’s participation. It will also have support of honest and brave soldiers of the army and police force.
The outfit will rise above politics and educate and enlighten people on terrorism. It will keep vigil on terrorist networks and help police and army to nab the terrorists. It will also boycot local accomplices of the terrorists, he said. Earlier, Mr Togadia led a rally to Godhra railway yard where S-6 coach is parked. The rally offered floral tribute to the victims.
