Today’s Telugu films are not worthy of seeing: Eatala

Finance Minister Etela Rajender has deplored that Indian arts deteriorated due to the influence of foreign culture.

Participating in the Telugu University’s 30th anniversary celebrations, the Minister said the traditions, art forms and festivals were parts of the lives and the Telugu University’s role in protecting the culture and arts forms was unforgettable.

Etela said Telugu films in the past reflected the real problems of the poor but these days the Telugu films cannot be watched along with family members due to indecent scenes and dialogues. The Minister said education should improve the society and human relations. The Minister handed over the Life Time Achievement Award to eminent film director B Narsing Rao along with Rs 1 lakh. (NSS)
