Today world badly needs peace: Muslim bodies

New Delhi: Today the world primarily needs peace. Oppression and violence is rampant everywhere. These views were expressed by National President of Tanzeem Ulama-e-Haq, Maulana Mohammed Eijaz Urfi Qasmi.

Palestinian ambassador Adnan Mohammed Jaber Abul Hai described Palestinian situation as explosive and said American president’s move to declare Jerusalem as the capital of Israel as sheer injustice. He said Muslims will not withdraw from its claim at any cost.

Chairman of Muslim Political Council Dr. Tasleem Ahmed Rahmani in his speech said peace could not be maintained in the world until Palestinians are not shifted to their homes and Israelis are not ousted from Palestinian land.

Shaikhul Hadees of Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband advocated for peace in the entire world.

The world conference was followed by a seminar entitled role of Urdu in promotion of peace and harmony, in which eminent writers presented their papers.
